Do you have a rock or fossil that you can't figure out? Ever wish someone could help you identify it? Bring your unidentified geologic specimen to National Fossil Day, part of Earth Science Week and we'll help you out. The Geology Department and the Society of Gustavus Geologists are hosting a "name that rock or fossil" event for students, staff, faculty, families, and community members. We'll have free fossils, activities, museum tours, and, of course, rock and fossil identification.
