Announcement: Mindfulness Meditation for Stress Management

Description
This class will focus on various techniques of mindfulness and relaxation including breathing, movement, and imagery. These techniques promote mind-body awareness by calming the mind, fostering self-knowledge, and increasing connectedness. This approach to relaxation is especially useful to individuals struggling with anxiety or low mood. This is a series of 5 classes beginning Thursday, April 3 and continuing until May 1. Class time is 3:30-5 p.m. Preregistration is requested. Please contact the counseling center at 507-933-7027 or walk in to put your name on the list.
