MCS Department Art ExhibitionMar 6, 2015 at 3:30 p.m. to Mar 20, 2015 at 4:30 p.m.
It is the MCS department's pleasure to invite the Gustavus community to the opening of the second MCS Department art exhibition.
The exhibition will take place in the foyer of the 3rd floor of Olin Hall from March 6th through March 20th, with a public opening reception on Friday, March 6 at 3:30. Light hors-d'oeuvres will be served.
This is the second MCS art exhibit. Like the original successful exhibit 5 years ago, it will be curated by Prof. Lois Peterson, the MCS department's Artist in Residence. The exhibition will feature works of art in various media by members of the MCS faculty, and will range from works in fiber, works of nature, works in wood and others. We in the department view this as showcase of the liberal arts experience, and of the aesthetic appeal to be to be found in diverse fields of artistic endeavor.
