A reception will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Book Mark on Thursday, Dec. 5, to celebrate the accomplishments of Visiting Professor of English Matt Rasmussen '98. Rasmussen's debut collection of poems titledBlack Aperturewas a finalist for this year's National Book Award in Poetry. Refreshments will be served, Rasmussen will read several of his poems and also sign copies of the book.
