Description
The Soudan Underground Laboratory is located more than 700 meters underground in northeastern Minnesota. Together with colleagues at a half-dozen laboratories around the world, scientists at Soudan work to answer fundamental questions about the universe in which we live. What is the nature of the fundamental interactions? What are the properties of the elementary particles called neutrinos? What is dark matter? Why does the universe have a large asymmetry between matter and antimatter? This talk will address both these questions and the experiments in progress searching for answers to them.
