Description

Users sending mail with attachments from old versions of the OS X Mail client (1.2.5) to WebMail users are reporting difficulty. The attachments are not coming through clean.

One possible work around is to have the receivers use the old WebMail Client (Squirrel Mail)

The other solution is to upgrade the Macintosh users OS to 10.3.5. Since the Mail application is integrated into the OS, an OS upgrade is required. Upgrading all current users will be very time consuming, so we are also looking into changes on the WebMail client.

If you have any additional information regarding attachment integrity on the campus system, please forward that info to Joyce or Dan.
