As part of the Lysistrata Project, readings of the ancient Greek antiwar comedy Lysistrata will be read to voice opposition to the war on Iraq. Readings will raise money for charities working for peace and humanitarian aid in the Middle East and elsewhere. Douglass Parker's translation of Lysistrata will be presented as part of this "theatrical act of dissent."
