Announcement: Linnaeus EE Center PreDesign Open House, Tuesday, March 5th Linnaeus Arboretum

You are invited to an Open House to learn about and provide early feedback on an important proposed project.

Linnaeus Arboretum is putting plans together for an expansion/addition/new construction that will serve as a full-fledged, multi-space Environmental Education Center.

This Center can serve both the campus and wider community by promoting environmental education, serving as classroom and meeting space, and attracting new friends as a convention center.

If you've ever wanted to help design an Environmental Education Center, this is your chance. Please join us.

Where: Lind Interpretive Center in Linnaeus Arboretum

Date: Tuesday, March 5th

Time(s): Come anytime between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Food: Yes, there will be snacks and beverages.

Time commitment: As much or as little as you want.

What will happen: You will learn about the project, see some design concept options, and then give us feedback, if you wish.

What should I be thinking about: From your unique perspective: how might you utilize such a facility, what features will be important to you, what is the ideal location, should it incorporate the existing Interpretive Center, how can we build on our strengths and maximize opportunities, etc.

Do I need to RSVP: No. Just mark your calendar and come if you can.
