Announcement: Lecture by Francis Yellow

Francis Yellow will present a lecture entitled "Art as Lifeway," at 7 p.m. on Feb.19 in the Fine Arts Lecture Hall. Yellow is a Lakota artist from Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota. Now based in Minneapolis, Yellow draws upon both his mainstream education and his Lakota heritage. Yellow's artwork which is known nationwide, incorporates humor even as it addresses difficult subjects. He is being considered for a commission to create an original artwork for Christ Chapel.
