Announcement: Lecture by Dr. Liping Wang

Dr. Liping Wang will deliver a lecture entitled, "Women in China: Rural Violence, Urban Labor and the Promises of Communism," as part of the Global Insight China Visiting Scholar Lecture Series on April 15th. Dr. Wang is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Minnesota and has conducted field work in rural China for more than a decade. The event is co-sponsored by the Faculty Lecture Series, the Diversity Center and by numerous academic departments and programs.
