Description
Sergio Schmucler is an independent filmmaker, screenwriter and novelist from Argentina. At age 18, he exiled in Mexico, while his brother was captured and killed by dictators. Ever since that time, Schmucler has used his writing and filmmaking skills to reflect on issues related to human rights and cultural identity. He has an impressive number of fictional and documentary television programs and films. A large part of his documentaries focus on human rights and political issues, both in Mexico and in Argentina.
