Aura Bogado's talk will focus on how, as a journalist, she investigates and covers immigration and migration in a way that centers the lived experience and expertise of marginalized people.
Aura Bogado is a Murrow Award-winning reporter for Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting covering migration and immigration with a focus on children in federal custody held in contracted shelters and residential treatment centers, as well as in secret facilities. She has written for The Nation, The Grist, and served as news editor for Colorlines.
