Description
"Free in Christ to Serve the Neighbor: Lutherans Talk About Human Sexuality" is the third and final part of the ELCA's "Journey Together Faithfully" study series.
This series, focused around Bible study and open conversation, is the means by which the ELCA Task Force on Human Sexuality is soliciting thoughts and opinions from ELCA members (and those who work at or attend ELCA-related institutions).
Such feedback (due by November 1st) will be used by the Task Force in crafting the ELCA's Social Statement on Human Sexuality, due to be considered at the 2009 church-wide assembly in Minneapolis.
(Social Statements are the teaching documents of the church which address the intersections between Christian faith and public policy.)
