Hospice: Teamwork in ActionMay 21, 2018 at 6:30–8 p.m.

Park Nicollet Hospice is sending out a team of 10 interdisciplinary health care professionals that work together as a team to provide the best care possible for each patient in hospice. They do this every year, without charge. Some of the team members are alumni, others are not. All are passionate about what they do. They present two case studies and talk about how they worked with each patient. It is an interprofessional communication and collaboration event that is exceptionally important for anyone going into a health care field, according to the Institute of Medicine (IOM). Besides being something that could be referred to in an application, it is an exceptionally engaging event for all who are interested.
