"Testimony: Vernacular Art of the African-American South" This exhibit funded by The Gustavus Artist Series, Pearson Art Foundation, and the Diversity Center of Gustavus Adolphus College. Powerfully expressive paintings, drawings, reliefs, sculptures and assemblages by 24 self-taught African-American artists of the South, revealing the shared concerns and the individual passions and aesthetics of these artists. Exhibit organized and circulated by Exhibitions International, NY.
Regular Museum Hours: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday 1-5 p.m. Museum will be closed for Easter April 9-11.
