Gusties Serve Mt. OlivetSeptember 30, 2017 at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
We are thrilled to announce a wonderful opportunity for you to give back to your local community through service. The Gustavus Alumni Board is piloting "Gusties Serve" projects, and you are invited to join J.C. Anderson '82 and fellow Gusties at the newest Mount Olivet-owned group home in the Twin Cities that is home to 4 young men with autism. Pastor Hammersten's son, Jack, is among the residents at this new home and the home itself is in need of some TLC.
Pastor Hammersten says, "With the cost of round-the-clock care for these high need individuals, the house operates on an extremely tight budget; the offer of Gusties to come out and spruce up the house and yard is so wonderful! We want to be good neighbors and keeping the house looking good is important."
With that in mind, join us for a productive morning of yard work, painting, and other fix-it-up projects. The more hands we can get, the more we can get done, and we look forward to getting Gusties together to pitch in for our local community - all Gusties are welcome!
Contact J.C. Anderson (jc.anderson@gpmlaw.com | 612-632-3002) for additional information.
We hope to see you there - Go Gusties!
