Warren Friesen conducts the Gustavus Symphony Orchestra upon their return from their Spring 2003 Concert Tour through Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa. Concert repertoire will include Antonin Dvorák Symphony No. 9 in E Minor, Op. 95 ("From the New World"); Romance for Viola and Orchestra, Op. 85 by Max Bruch; Violin Concerto No. 1 in G Minor Op. 26 by Max Bruch; Symphony No. 8 in B Minor, D. 759 ("Unfinished") by Franz Schubert; Tuba Concerto in F Minor by Ralph Vaughan Williams; and Music to Peer Gynt by Edvard Grieg. This concert features performances by Gustavus' 2003 Concerto/Aria Competition winners David McRoberts, tuba; Emma Jordan, violin; Anna Stenson, violin; and James Knowles, viola.
