Niko Skievaskiis the co-founder of Redox, a healthcare technology company that integrates digital health applications and electronic health records. In 2017 he was recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Healthcare and served as Entrepreneur in Residence at Cisco. He cut his teeth in healthcare working at Epic, the nation's leading electronic health record software company, where he lectured on healthcare economics. He has degrees in economics from Boston University and Arizona State University.

You might be a great cook, but that's no reason to open a restaurant. The only reason to start a business is to meet excess demand with a differentiated good or service. The study of economics gives us the tools to identify and analyze value, or a lack thereof, in a market. Entrepreneurship, on the other hand, is the pursuit of value creation. Niko Skievaski will discuss these concepts as he talks through his journey from aspiring economist to entrepreneur.
