The Stoles Project is a display of clerical stoles handmade to honor the ministries of gay and lesbian persons in the ELCA. There are two types of stoles presented: stoles from GLBT individuals that come from sexual minorities in our church -- some from loved ones and friends honoring a GLBT loved one, some come with names and a story, some are anonymous; and signature stoles from allys that come from supportive members of congregations, synods, and other organizations. All are invited to come view this colorful, uplifting display.
