Description
Montenegro, a tiny country in the Balkans with jaw-dropping scenery"from harsh mountains to Mediterranean beaches"has an equally jaw-dropping history at the crossroads of contending East-West armies for the last several centuries. English Professor and Fulbright Scholar Dr. Gregory Mason will talk about Montenegro's unique geography and how it drives the country's history, a history full of old hatreds and hopefully brighter futures in this fascinating part of the world.
