Robert Proctor, former Provost and Founder of The Toor Cummings Center for International Studies and the Liberal Arts at Connecticut College, will lecture on the Roman origins of the liberal arts tradition. His book, "Education's Great Amnesia" won the 1990 AAC's Ness Award as the book that contributed most to liberal learning.
