Announcement: Flu Shots Still Available in Health Service

The Gustavus Health Service still has some flu vaccine remaining. The Minnesota Department of Health has noticed an increased incidence of influenza across the state of Minnesota and continues to recommend an annual flu vaccine to aid in prevention of influenza. While the flu shot may not prevent influenza in all cases, it has the potential to decrease the severity of the flu if you get it!

If you are interested in getting a flu shot, please stop by or call the Health Service at 507-933-7630 to schedule an appointment. Please bring your insurance card. Many insurances will cover the full cost of the flu shot (including the Gustavus Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance and Gustavus Student Health Plans). We apologize that we are not able to offer the flu shot to retirees.
