Firethorne Release Picnic PartyMay 14, 2018 at 5:30–7:30 p.m.

Come and join the editors of Firethorne: Gustavus' Literary Magazine in the Arb on May 14, 2018, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for the official release of the Spring 2018 edition of Firethorne.

The will be a grill-out, an excellent open mic night for musicians and writers, and of course, FREE copies of the Firethorne Literary Magazine. Feel free to bring some blankets to sit on.

The Firethorne editors have been working hard on this project all semester. After receiving a record-breaking 229 blind submissions of poetry, prose, and art from current Gustavus students, the staff had a challenging time deciding which to publish. But, they did it.

Once the content was decided, the editors came up with the overall design of the magazine and put everything together. They then spent a long time proofing and editing each page, and sent in the final product to be published. The official Spring 2018 edition of Firethorne Literary Magazine will arrive on campus soon and the Firethorne editors would love for you to have a copy. So, come grab one and celebrate with them.
