Announcement: Festival Showcase; A Celebration of Student Work

On September 13, 2007 the Gustavus Theater Department will be holding auditions for first ever Festival of Student Plays to be performed Nov. 15-18. If you have ever wanted to participate in a production at Gustavus this is the perfect opportunity; we are looking interested parties to act, stage manage, design and perform duties in the technical arena. The Festival Showcase will be operating much like the Minnesota Fringe Festival offering many performances of different productions over the course of one weekend. In addition to Advanced Dance Student Choreography and a reprise of I Am, We Are's "E Plurbis Gustavus", there will be Four One-Act pieces directed by Advanced directing students, one specifically cast with only freshman students, and a production titled "Late Night Soup" which will showcase short student performances of all types, not limited to only theatre.
