Description The Festival of St. Lucia marks the beginning of the Christmas season in Swedish custom. The festival is celebrated annually at Gustavus with a chapel service featuring a court of five sophomore women chosen for their leadership, service to the College and others, charity, kindness, and thoughtfulness.

8 a.m. – Holiday Bake Sale at Trinity Lutheran Church
10 a.m. – Chapel Service in Christ Chapel featuring St. Lucia court
10:30 a.m. – Holiday shopping at the Book Mark
11 a.m – Scandinavian Smorgasbord and program featuring author Lisa Lunge-Larsen
