John Rezmerski will present "Just Musing Along with the Muse," which he describes as follows: How do you know a poem is coming, where it is coming from, and where it is going? How do you know whether it's going to be a poem or a story? How much is deliberate, how much is spontaneous, how much is accidental, how much is a gift of the gods? Illustrating my account with my own poems and stories- some still in progress-I want to talk about some elements of the creative process: how ideas emerge, how much planning goes into creative work, and how the Muse keeps messing up my plans.
