"If You Build It, Will They Come? Starting Your Own Business In A Tough Economy." Gregg Sainsbury '96 will be speaking about business and life lessons learned in 13 years in the financial services industry, and his recent decision to leave a stable, well-paying job in order to start his own wealth management firm--Blue Chip Advisors--with two business associates. Gregg is also opening an online greeting card company, the outgrowth of a business plan competition in which he placed second while pursuing his MBA in New Venture Entrepreneurship at the University of St. Thomas. Sainsbury has worked for several companies in financial services, and has been a Certified Financial Planner since 2001. Refreshments will be available.
