For the first time, Gustavus Adolphus College will host the three-day Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Convocation of Teaching Theologians. "The purpose of this convocation is to revisit and rethink traditional Lutheran principles in the light of recent interfaith dialogue," said Darrell Jodock, planning committee chair and the Drell and Adeline Bernhardson Distinguished Professor of Religion at Gustavus. Six speakers will lead the discussion on a range of religious topics that weave in current events and societal trends. This biennial event is sponsored by the ELCA Division of Ministry.
