Description
This play is taken, almost in its entirety, from the words of Dr. King. It draws on his books, sermons, and speeches, although the words are often placed out of their proper context. The scene is Dr. King's room at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. The question, "When were you most frightened?" leads Dr. King into a review of his work in the Civil Rights Movement. The performance takes place at 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21 in Alumni Hall.
