Doggie Dash 5KMay 16, 2009 at 9–11 a.m.

The St. Francis Pound Pal Society and Gustavus Campus Activities Board would like to invite the Gustavus and St. Peter communities to the first annual 5K Fun Run and Dog Walk. Participants can either run or walk in the 5K. Canine participants are encouraged to attend but owners are required to provide a leash for all dogs they are responsible for. Proceeds will benefit construction of the new St. Peter Dog Park. The event will begin at Gorman Park (Grace St. and S. Washington Ave.).

Student registration will take place the week of May 11-15 at tabling outside the cafeteria. Registration is free for students and t-shirts will cost $10.

Community registration will take place via mail-in forms which can be picked up at the Kind Veterinary Clinic, the Cornerstone Wellness Center, The Pulse, and Anytime Fitness. Registration for community members is $15 which includes a t-shirt.
