DHCP Request Issues - FixedSeptember 16, 2004All day
Description
Last night (Wednesday)and this morning, we had some issues with the DHCP server - primarily on the res-net side. Users would make valid requests, receive a valid response and then ask right away again. This caused the DHCP server to be overwhelmed. Some users were getting 0.0 or 169 ips.
The problem turned out to be a misconfigured router in the res-halls. The port with the probem has been disabled.
