Announcement: Daily Sabbath - September Plans

Audience:Public
Description

Due to the coronavirus pandemic and the need to proceed with an abundance of caution, the Chaplains' Office has adapted its plans for the Daily Sabbath time for the month of September and perhaps through the semester.  Each day, Monday through Friday, the Chaplains' Office will post a minute-long inspirational "Morning Spark" video via Instagram and Facebook (@GACFaithLife) that encourages spiritual wellbeing, resilience, and interfaith learning.  Additionally, from 9:45-10:45 am on Tuesdays and Fridays, the chaplains will be available at different outdoor locations around campus under a tent.  Students and employees are invited to stop by and pick up spiritual wellbeing activities and reflection questions and to continue observing the 10-10:20 am time as a pause for reflection, connection, and wellbeing.  Christ Chapel and the Bonnier Multifaith Center will be open for personal prayer and reflection throughout the weekday mornings, but no organized gatherings will take place in these spaces until it is deemed safer to do so.
