Description

This event is geared toward Muslims and non-Muslims interested in learning more about Muslim prayer in the Bonnier Multifaith Center. We'll start with a tour of the Multifaith Center, including how to determine the direction of Mecca and where to find prayer rugs and other supplies (for use by Muslims only). Then a Muslim student will talk to non-Muslims about the basics of Muslim prayer, while other Muslim students will have an opportunity to meet each other. Ideal for incoming Gusties and anyone with interest.

Today's program falls under the category of "Diverse Religious Expressions" (most Thursdays during Daily Sabbath in the Multifaith Center) in which students present on their own religious traditions. If you are interested in requesting or hosting a particular Thursday Daily Sabbath event, please contact Dr. Marian Broida, Interfaith Program Coordinator.  mbroida@gustavus.edu.
