Announcement: Culpeper Art Contest

Create a 2-dimensional piece of artwork that portrays any or all of these themes: language, culture, and technology. (Traditional photography is excluded - mixed media okay.) You will need to complete an entry form online, and submit a 300-word explanation of what inspired your work as well as a statement of originality. A Gustavus art professor must also sign a waiver affirming that your piece is, in fact, original. Culpeper workers, faculty/staff/administration, and Gustavus students will be judging the artwork. First prize will be $75, second prize will be $25. The winning art pieces will be displayed in the Culpeper Lab.
