This lecture focuses on Islamic, Iranian, Iraqi, and international concerns. Mahmoud Sadi, associate professor of socioloogy and social work at Texas Woman's University, Denton, Tex.,is the scheduled speaker. His research interests include sociological theory, sociology of culture, and sociology of religion. He has taught many classes at the university, including "Culture and Food" and "Islam and Modernization."
