Description
The Kyoto Protocol, an international agreement to limit greenhouse gas emissions that are warming the planet, recently went into effect despite the refusal of the United States to participate. U.S. policy makers claim the agreement would cost the United States jobs and that excluding developing nations from the agreement is unfair. Jeff Jeremiason and Richard Leitch will discuss implications of non-participation by the U.S. and the current policy on greenhouse gas emissions.
