Description
This lecture is about the Nobel Conference and this year's topic, "The Story of Life." It will describe the development of the Gustavus Nobel Conference and provide a preview of the speakers at this year's conference. The Nobel Conference will deal with the origin and evolution of life: from the simplest of organisms, to the age of dinosaurs to the emergence of humans. The theological and ethical issues related to the discoveries of modern science will be considered. Tim Robinson, psychology, and Joe Carlson, professor emeritus of geology, will be presenting.
