All FTS instructors and other interested faculty are invited to join Writing Program Director Rebecca Fremo for practical, hands-on strategies for teaching thesis-driven argument in FTS. Fremo will share resources created by the FTS Writing Summer Think Tank, a group of experienced FTS instructors that met throughout the summer to create shared resources. We'll share a web-based set of materials including sample formal and informal assignments, web resources, and other materials that will help instructors break down the process of teaching students to generate thesis-driven arguments in FTS. Refreshments will be served.
