Chapel Break: Founders and Service Awards Day Ceremony and ReceptionOctober 31, 2023 at 10–11 a.m.

Please join the College community for the Daily Sabbath service, a recognition ceremony, and a reception on Founders and Service Awards Day on Tuesday, October 31, from 10 to 11 a.m. in Christ Chapel. We will recognize the contributions of these three exemplary employees as well as the outstanding work of the many Gustavus employees across the campus. Our award winners are Augusta Carlson Schultz Award for the Outstanding Support Staff Employee of 2023 will be awarded to Ted Rosenback, Market Place Supervisor in Dining Service; the Eric Norelius Award for the Outstanding Administrative Employee for 2023 will be given to Mike Carroll, Head Women’s Hockey Coach in Athletics; and the Faculty Service Award for 2023 will be given to members of the Faculty Task Force: Kate Knutson (chair), Betsy Byers, Yurie Hong, Maddalena Marinari, Dave Stamps, Dwight Stoll, and Valerie Walker.
