Candlelight VigilNovember 23, 2015 at 9–10 p.m.

On Monday the 23rd of November at 9:00 p.m. in Christ Chapel, there will be a candlelight vigil in remembrance of the many lives lost throughout the world by violent means in the past few weeks (i.e. Paris, Beirut, Nigeria etc.). This is an inclusive service open to all students and staff who wish to join us in both reflecting on the lives lost and offering words of peace and love from various faith backgrounds and beliefs.

The vigil will last for approximately one hour; where the beginning will consist of words of peace from the community, and the last 15-20 min. will be silent to allow for individuals to reflect internally on what has happened and continues to happen.

You can come and go as you please, the chaplains and I simply ask that you remain respectful to the other people wishing to remain. We hope to see you all there and we hope that you have a fun and safe Thanksgiving break!
