Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the leading cause of death in the United States and studies prove that early CPR and defibrillation increase a victim's chance of survival. In collaboration with Heart Safe Communities and with the support of multiple on campus organizations and departments we aim to train 1,000 people in CPR and Automatic External Defibrillation (AED) use. Together Gustavus will show dedication to the well being of our campus community, our families, our friends and to the victim we may not know.
