Description

Alumni, parents, and friends of Gustavus Adolphus College are cordially invited to attend two special events in Brainerd. Gather with other Gusties in the area and join a conversation with Gustavus Professor Darrell Jodock to learn more about Gustavus' relationship with the Lutheran Church. As a churchrelated college, Gustavus grounds this work at the intersection of the liberal arts and Lutheran traditions, drawing from the rich intellectual, ethical, creative, and spiritual resources of both.

Dr. Darrell Jodock is the Drell and Adeline Bernhardson Distinguished Professor of Religion and teaches in the area of Lutheran Studies. Jodock came to Gustavus in 1999 after serving as professor of religion and department head at Muhlenberg College. Additionally, Jodock served as a parish pastor at Grace Lutheran Church in Washington, D.C. He received a B.A. from St. Olaf College, an M.Div. at Luther Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from Yale University.
