Announcement: Books in Bloom

Books in Bloom will be held on May 3-5, 2024.  The hours are: Friday, May 3 from 3-5 p.m., Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m. -4 p.m., Sunday, May 5 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. 

Two special events will be featured on Saturday, May 4: 

Noon - 3 p.m. - Memorbillia display from the College Archives with Associate Archivist Adrianna Darden
1 p.m. "Fika & Flowers" - a book discussion and design based on the book "Braiding Sweetgrass" 

Books in Bloom features floral arrangements by designers and florists who interpret a book, film, or other academic resource selected from the library's holdings.  For more information, visit gustavus.edu/gla. Community members, gardeners, and book lovers are encouraged to enjoy the beautiful displays.  The event is free and open to the public.  Donations are appreciated.
