Description
On Thursday, February 28 we will be bringing the Blackout Comedy Improv Troupe to Gustavus. Blackout is an all African American Improv Troupe that acts out improv skits based on social justice issues. Building Bridges would like to collab with PASO in order to expose Gustavus students to African, and African American immigration topics. With the current political climate access to social media, we hear so much about Latinx immigration issues that other immigration topics are often overlooked. Through this event, the Blackout Improv group will address African American immigration issues that have been ignored in the past and today.
