Announcement: Be a Student Senate Representative
Applications are NOW AVAILABLE in the Dean of Students Office or on the Gustavus website (see the link below) to run for a Student Senate position for the 2015-2016 school year. The applications are due to the Dean of Students Office by 4 PM on Monday, September 14 and elections will take place that Thursday, September 17. The available positions include class representatives, hall representatives, off campus representatives, and one international student representative. You may only offer your candidacy for one position.
Student Senate is a wonderful way to get involved at Gustavus, represent your peers and help make decisions which affect our entire community. Meetings are held every Monday night throughout the academic year. Please reach out to Ombudsperson Solveig Svendsen (ssvendse@gac.edu) with questions or concerns about applications, or about the election process.
