Tuesday, May 3, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Melva Lind Interpretive Center, to conclude the Bards in the Arb series for the year, the English Department proudly welcomes back Gustavus alumna Kaethe Schwehn ('00), who will be reading from Tailings:A Memoir, which won the 2015 Minnesota Book Award for Memoir/Creative Nonfiction, and from a forthcoming chapbook of poetry.Kaethe holds MFAs from both the University of Montana and the Iowa Writers' Workshop and is the co-editor of Claiming Our Callings:Toward a New Understanding of Vocation in the Liberal Arts.Her fiction, essays, and poetry have appeared in numerous journals.Refreshments and book signing.
