Award Winning Documentarian On CampusApril 17, 2007 at 7–8 p.m.

John Biewen, an award-winning documentarian, journalist, and Gustavus alum will be speaking on "Embracing a Social Conscience in Your Career." Biewen will talk about his careers with National Public Radio, American Radio Works and the Duke University Center for Documentary Studies. Biewen will discuss the opportunities, challenges, and rewards he has experienced in his own work life as he has maintained a connection to important social issues including poverty, racism, crime, and health care.
