The Gustavus Alumni Association, Board of Trustees member Linda Bailey Keefe '66, and Ruth Sammelson Rothchild '63 and her husband, Irwin, invite Atlanta Chapter alumni and friends to an event to introduce new Gustavus President Jim Peterson '64. President Peterson will talk about The Promise of Gustavus, his top priorities for the College.

Enjoy a reception and meet other Gusties in the Atlanta area. Alumni Director Randall Stuckey '83 and Steve Hogberg '69 from the Advancement Office will be traveling with President Peterson.

Directions: From the East on I-20 or I-285 west. From midtown Atlanta, head north on I-85 toward Greenville. Approximately four miles from downtown, take exit for GA 400, a toll road (50 cents). From GA 400 exit 5 B (Sandy Springs) exit and continue on exit ramp onto Abernathy Road west. After approximately three miles, you will be at the intersection of Johnson Ferry Road and Abernathy Road. Turn right onto Johnson Ferry Road for 4/10 of a mile. On right hand side, look for white columns (Breakwater subdivision), and turn into subdivision. First street on your left, approximately 50 yards into subdivision, is Breakwater Circle and Rothchild house is immediate on the left.
From the South, take I-85 north toward downtown Atlanta and follow directions above.
From the Northwest, take I-75 south or I-285 east. Exit I-285 at Riverside Drive. Turn left, crossing over I-285. At second traffic light, turn right onto River Valley Road. Continue on River Valley to second traffic light (Johnson Ferry Road and River Valley). Turn left, approximately 4/10 miles of a mile, then follow directions above. If you miss the turn into Breakwater, you will start going down a hill until road crosses the Chattahoochee River.
From the West, take either I-20 east or I-285 north, turning into I-285 west. If I-20, then follow downtown Atlanta instructions (South). If I-285, then follow Northwest instructions.
From the North, take I-400 south and exit at 5B (Sandy Springs) heading west on Abernathy Road, then see above.
From the Northeast, take I-85 south and exit onto I-285 west (sign says to Chattanooga). Continue west to GA 400 north...no toll, toward Dhalonaga. Exit at 5B (Sandy Springs) onto Abernathy Road west, then see above.
