Description
Dr. Robert Lavenda (professor and co-chair, Sociology/Anthropology, St. Cloud State University) will share his ethnographic research on small town festivals in Minnesota. If you're from a small town in Minnesota--or happen to be in one--you may well find Dr. Lavenda's anthropological analysis of phenomena like the Glenwood Waterama, the Askov Rutabaga Festival, and the Cloquet Lumberjack Days fascinating.
