Advising DayApril 16 at 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Description

Faculty and Staff across campus value talking with students about their academic, professional, and vocational goals. To make time for conversations, they do not hold classes before 3:30 p.m. for one day each semester and, instead, hold an Advising Day. Whether students are unfamiliar with the programs Gustavus offers, are ready to say "I declared _____", or are looking to refine their next steps within your major, Advising Day has something to offer them. Departments, programs, and offices across campus - with the help of many student leaders - will hold events throughout the day to talk about all things advising-related: learning about and/or declaring a major or minor, finding internships, four-year planning, and more!

Between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., stop by the Advising Headquarters in Heritage Room for drop-in advising; a conversation with the Registrar, ASC, or Career; help with four-year planning; headshots for LinkedIn or other outlets; and more.

Throughout the day, stop by any of the events happening in academic buildings across campus to learn more about majors and minors across campus. Scheduled events can be found in the Advising Day Google Calendar. Check them out and add them to your own calendar!

More information about the day's events is also available at the Advising Day website.
